Founded in 1995 by the family of none other than our own founding father, the Grosse Pointe Athletic Club was a gym local to one of the most affluent cities in the Midwest. After almost 20 years providing generations of ELBs a venue for country and yacht club athletes, it went the way of all neighborhood institutions in the vicinity of predatory land developers. All that remains now is a dead Facebook page and a Subway. Gone, but not forgotten.
